Had read this one quite a few years ago. A great read. The way the author has designed the entire narration, the elements it capture, the sequence of events and the way it ends. Everything just adds up into a power packed punch for such an unexpected turn of events that I still marvel at how good the book was. Definitely a chef’s kiss 🤌.
I enjoyed the character development from his childhood origins, to his days at working for the financially well family, and all the adventures he had partaken while working there (and no I do not acknowledge all his actions).
It wasn’t just the amazing story, the mystery and thrill of the read but also what it captured. The way it reflected our society, giving a picture of India, and some of the major challenges that we as a nation face. On the notions of conscience and how everything turned out to be. Its a a surprisingly short read considering how much story it tells.
