This was one of the most amazing experiences I had in a long time. I played Cyberpunk for about 40-50 hours in 4 months, from mid May to September first week or so, and this was the first time I was so hesitant on starting the final mission of the game. Because even though I could have still done the side missions, explore the world, enjoyed and just went with the vibes of the game, its not the same for me when I have finished the main missions campaign of a game. Its the end for me when I finish the game (mostly because my wishlist is so huge). And maybe because it was the first time that I had played and enjoyed a game in small chunks for a longer period of time, instead of rush through the main campaign like I do for most games, I felt more attached to the character (V), the world, and the game in general.

Cyberpunk’s side missions were amazing, engaging and gave a depth and immersion to the world of night city. The graphics were beautiful. I used to play at 720p High/Medium. And yes dear reader, I am willing to debate with the resolution junkies 🙂. On on laptop, or even on TV, 720p vs 1080p does not makes as much of a difference as low vs high graphics and 30fps vs 60fps does.

Now coming back to the game; whether it was playing the guitar as Johny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves), just riding in the outskirts of night city, or within it, catching cyberpsychos, or toying around with the latest cyberware, the game is a world in its own. Its marvelous right from the first mission. Playing a game like this raises the bar so high that you now need really good games to get you even half entertained. Though playing Red Dead Redemption 2 after this changed everything again. But, Cyberpunk definitely stands out as a must play game from my list.
